Hip-hop dance is a combination dance genre with impacts from older street dance designs produced in the 1970s. Breaking was created in The Bronx, New York in the very early 1970s. In its earliest form, it started as explanations on James Brown's "Excellent Foot" dancing which debuted in 1972.
